  • San Dionisio Chapel, blue_cool3000 (guest) wrote 17 years ago:
No offense to all devout Catholics and residents of San Dionisio, but I just cant help but comment on your resident patron saint Tata Dune. I was appalled and very disturbed to see such an image in church. A headless man in his tunic carrying his head on a platter. I mean who wouldn't be horrified? If I were a kid I would be shocked to visit that church. It could be traumatic and at the same time an image that would create nightmares for children. In consolation it would be really nice to see a whole image of him rather than a headless one. Tata Dune may have had a story behind his beheading but, think of it this way; would you want a picture or a carved stone image of you taken in your worst appearance? Of course not.
